At the end of 2008 I weighed over 300 pounds. I had experimented with several other diets over the years to try and lose weight to no avail.
I had a Chiropractic appointment; upon arrival, I noticed a television in the lobby with a video running explaining a weight loss program called Ideal Protein. He introduced me to Gretchen and the rest is life-changing history! I informed her that two things would make me fail on this diet; I could not go to bed hungry and I needed to see some kind of progress every week. She assured me that if I followed the protocol exactly as it was designed, this would not occur. I started the diet December 2008. I lost twelve pounds in the first week and ten pounds my second. Over a nineteen-week period I lost 96 pounds and lost 16 inches off my waist! It has been almost a year since I completed the protocol and I am still at my target weight.

During the course of the diet I recovered from acid reflux and my asthma is now completely under control. I went for a physical after I completed the protocol and my physician was amazed how much my health had improved from the previous year.

The method was very easy to follow. I was amazed at how excellent the food selection was and how good it tasted. The support I received from Gretchen was outstanding. Every week when I would go for my weigh-ins she would always acknowledge my accomplishments and was always able to answer all my questions.

In closing, I would like to say that if you want to lose weight, Ideal Protein is the Weight Loss Method!… The support you receive from Gretchen is extraordinary!

I’m a stay at home mom and I gained an extra 30 lbs staying at home eating all day long and not exercising, I wanted to lose weight. I worked out at the gym 4~5 days a week for 6 months and still didn’t lose any weight because I didn’t change my eating habits.

My husband told me about the Ideal Protein Method and that we could lose an average of 3~7 lbs a week. I was always active and athletic weighing around 125-130 lbs until I had my 1st child at 24. I slowed down a lot, put on excess weight due to my pregnancies (an excuse to eat). I was eating drive thru foods and snacks all the time. I gained over 200 lbs within a year or two. In 2005 weighing 250 lbs, I joined Weight Watchers. I lost 53 lbs but then put it all back the next year.

I was very discouraged, I didn’t sleep well, and I would normally wake up with backaches. I was constantly out of breath if I walked too far or too fast. Getting up and down from the couch was not easy either. I kept hoping for that “thing” that would motivate me to get healthy.

We were introduced to the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method by an acquaintance and immediately contacted Ideal Protein for more information.
The first week I lost 9 lbs and my husband lost 11, very motivating! I was a little nervous concerning the cost, however, after the first month we actually broke even or possibly saved a little money. We were no longer eating out for lunches or dinners a couple times a week with the kids I was cooking at home.

By May 2010 I weighed 150 lbs, I continued until I reached another new goal of losing half of myself. I weighed 132 lbs and had lost 131 lbs by Sept 2010. I cannot be happier with a Protocol that allows you to eat yummy foods, burn fat, give you energy, lose weight and helps you look better than you have in years. It’s awesome! I feel that I have my life back. I water-skied this past summer (slalom) for the 1st time in 20 years and I cried when I finally fell because I was so happy! I am active again with my family. Ideal Protein has given me LIFE and now I get to help others find that happiness and health as well, as we coach others in our Clinic. It is so rewarding in many many ways!

I joined The Ideal Weight in February 2010. That was one of the best choices I ever made! I lost 91 pounds in a matter of 7 ½ months. The Ideal Protein Protocol was easy to follow and I had the support of my family and weekly visits with The Ideal Weigh staff to monitor my progress. I had high blood pressure and was able to get off both my medications and my blood pressure is now back to normal! I feel so much better now, I’m not tired all the time, and I have energy.
